Black Ram Theatre return to Norwich Puppet Theatre with their production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal

Robert and Emma are married. He is a publisher and she runs an art gallery. Jerry, a literary agent, is Robert's best friend. He has been having an affair with Emma for seven years.

Written in response to his own adulterous affair with the TV presenter Joan Bakewell, Harold Pinter's anatomy of an affair is an icy masterpiece about love and friendship and betrayal, made all the more brilliant by the cunning way
that the story is told backwards over nine years to the evening it all began.

Pinter has never dissected the theme of betrayal with such detached and brutal precision as he does here.
