London's criminal underworld is about to be divided...

Lear, the king of London's dark underbelly, has to retire. To stop the potential in-fighting between his three daughters from destroying the world he has carefully and ruthlessly created, he decides to confer an equal part of the business to each one, provided they can convince him that they love him above all else...

Ginger Tom Theatre Company, having returned from a successful run at Edinburgh, are preparing to stage one of Shakespeare's most well known tragedies: King Lear. It has been brought up to date and set in the midst of London's criminal fraternity.
