Running time: Wednesday and Thursday Evenings, 7-9pm

Ages: 18+

Weekly well-being and therapeutic workshop programme for freelancers working in the arts. A regular opportunity to meet-up and participate in activities including Laughter Yoga; Qi Gong; Dance; Puppet Making; Yosandhara Yoga and more, led by visiting practitioners. 

Each week, participants will also get the opportunity to play games for increasing creativity, facilitated by Lucy Enskat, Artistic Director of Hocus Pocus Theatre. There will be time for tea and talking at the end and a closing mindfulness exercise to take away.

Participants can dip-in to specific sessions which appeal to them; attend several sessions or come to all of them!

Wed 2nd October - Yoga for Resiliance with Sarah Lewis (Glasshouse Dance)

This workshop uses yoga, mindfulness, meditation and gentle movement to help participants recognise and manage stress and anxiety.


Thurs 3rd October - Laughter Yoga with Beverley Bishop

This fun interactive session will explore how, when and why we laugh, the health benefits of laughter and ways in which we can bring laughter into our day to day lives.


Thurs 10th October - Qi Gong with Deniz Paradot (Norfolk & Norwich Taiji Qi Gong School)

Taiji Qigong enhances the body, mind and spirit. It integrates the proven benefits of meditation and movement into a single practice.


Wed 16th October - Dance with Laura McGill (Glasshouse Dance)

Thisession will focus on finding freedom and expression in movement in an
uplifting, joyful way.

Thurs 17th October - Clown and Play Session with Lucy Enskat (Hocus Pocus Theatre)

Participate in drama games and clown exercises for increasing and releasing creativity.
